Electoral Register

5 January 2015

The electoral register has reduced by 2,500 since people were transferred under IER (Individual Electoral Registration) last year.  We want to check that no one is missing off the register to make sure people can vote in this year’s Borough, Parish and General elections in May 2015.  We will be sending a letter to all properties this week which lists all the people currently registered to vote at that property and the letter will tell people what they need to do if their name isn’t included. If the information on the letter is correct, you don’t need to do anything. If someone is eligible to vote, please register to vote at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

If you don’t get a letter by the end of next week, or don’t know if you are on the register, please get in touch with us on 0115 981 9911. More details at: http://www.rushcliffe.gov.uk/elections/
