The Avenue Beauty Clinic
Natalie Cooke, owner of The Avenue Beauty Clinic, 74 Bridgford Road, West Bridgford, contacted us after reading the call to get in touch in the Council’s June business newsletter.
Natalie has run the successful beauty salon for 10 years. She employs two qualified beauticians (Natalie is also qualified) and is now ready to expand to bigger premises. The move takes place on 16 September, when the business will relocate to 67 Eltham Road, West Bridgford. The business carries out a wide range of treatments including pregnancy pamper packages, mole and red vein removal, crystal clear facials, hot waxing and gel nails. The qualified staff also carry out massages, manicures, pedicures and eyelash extensions. They also do children’s pamper parties for children aged 6 to 14 where they show them how to put on nail varnish and crime their hair – but they don’t apply make up at that young age.
Natalie explains more about the business: “We have outgrown our premises and want something more luxurious for our customers. We also want to have more room for when people bring their children too. We are having an opening party night (invitation only) after the move on Friday 9 October from 6pm til 8pm to show customers round. I am also having an open house on Saturday 10 October which is open to all. As an incentive, we will be offering 10% off all our treatments in October if people quote ‘refurb’ when booking.
