Salary: £19,485 - £20,883 per annum 37 hrs

Rushcliffe is a modern, ambitious Council and we’re looking for a courageous, creative and experienced communications officer to assist in raising our profile on the national stage, whilst enhancing our reputation locally.

Focusing on external communications, campaigns and reputation enhancing activities, you will be a keen communicator who knows how to use all new media channels to target audiences, engage residents and change behaviours. You will develop relationships with local journalists and be adept at using all forms of media.

Rushcliffe Borough Council provides high-quality services to more than 110,000 residents in a borough made up of vibrant towns and stunning villages. It is forward-looking, innovative and keen to make the most of its assets. You will be challenged in this role to deliver high quality communications that raise the profile of the Council and your ideas will help shape the reputation of the Borough.
