We are offering an exciting opportunity to undertake a Finance Apprenticeship with Rushcliffe Borough Council and to complete an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.

Rushcliffe Borough Council is a relatively small Local Authority which prides itself on offering residents a “Great place, great lifestyle, great sport”. The council is one of the highest rated district councils in the country. Rushcliffe lies immediately south of the City of Nottingham and the River Trent and extends across towards Newark in the North East and Loughborough in the South West.  Although parts of the Borough lie close to Nottingham, Rushcliffe has a strong identity of its own. The main centre of population is West Bridgford, where around 41,000 of the Borough's 111,000 population live. The remainder of the borough is largely rural, with the centres of population split between small towns and villages.

This opportunity offers training leading to an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and we are looking for applicants who are highly committed to learn and complete their related College work and associated exams, have good organisational skills, and pay attention to detail. The successful candidate will provide basic administrative support as required by Financial Services in the achievement of agreed targets, objectives and established timeframes. An important part of the role will be to develop your experience in a range of Finance functions to include debtors and creditors systems, insurance administration and payroll whilst undertaking a programme of personal and professional development activity.
