Response
- How much did the council spend on bids for Round 1 of the Government's Levelling Up Fund? £1,500

This was for 1 bid and we asked a consultant to review available information to see if a bid could be possible for a new health centre/community hub in East Leake.
- How much money were those individual bids awarded under Round 1 of the Government's Levelling Up Fund?
No bid was submitted as the project is not at an advanced enough stage at that point to submit an application.
- How much did the council spend on bids for Round 2 of the Government's Levelling Up Fund? £16,610
- Could you outline what each of those bids was for and how much money was requested for each of them?
This was for 1 application for cyclist and pedestrian improvements to the area south of the River Trent in West Bridgford, Nottingham, to enable the new pedestrian/cycle bridge crossing to fully realise its benefits by connecting communities and providing safe, direct, free flowing and logical pedestrian and cycling infrastructure, in line with LTN 1/20.
The project would include:
- Upgrading of circa 800m of existing river-side footpath to the south of the River Trent, including widening, and providing lighting
- Improvements to the Lady Bay junction
- Improvements to 4 crossing points
The funding request was £3.1m
- How much money were those individual bids awarded under Round 2 of the Government's Levelling Up Fund?
The bid was unsuccessful.
