Under the Freedom of Information Act I would like to request the following information:
- Between the dates of 1 April 2023 to the present day, how much money was spent on domestic abuse related training for council staff, if any?
- Between the dates of 1 April 2023 to the present day, which external organisations were used to deliver domestic abuse related training to council staff, if any?
- Between the dates of 1 April 2023 to the present day, how much money was spent on Domestic Abuse related training for social workers?
- Between the dates of 1 April 2023 to the present day, please list the names of any domestic abuse related training that was provided to council staff.
Response
- Nottinghamshire County Council commissioned a package of domestic abuse training for the Housing Options Teams in the Nottinghamshire Districts and Boroughs. You would need to contact NCC for details of spend as we don’t have this information.

The Housing Options Team at Rushcliffe BC commissions homelessness training at a cost of £594 which included domestic abuse training.
- Equation was commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver domestic abuse training to the Housing Options Teams in the Nottinghamshire Districts and Borough,
- As a Borough Council we do not employ Social Workers
- Equation commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council on behalf of the Housing Options teams in the Nottinghamshire Districts and Boroughs.
