Complaints Under ASB Code

You should be advised that all complaints logged are allocated to a case officer. Where the case has a complainant, the procedure is to contact the complainant and discuss the nature of their complaint or request a diary is completed.

As such each complaint logged will be a commencement of investigation. It may be that subsequently no further action is taken, the case is referred on to other services such as the police/housing provider or letters or visits are made as part of the investigation etc. The extent of the investigation of each complaint is clearly case specific. As such the above table reflects the cases investigated in each of the years requested. If the requester wishes to understand the cases that have taken longer to investigate it is possible upon request to provide a report on the number of days to resolution of those cases listed. For example, the number of case above x days to resolution.
