As at the 1 August 2021, please could you forward a list of all shared and sub-contracted services operated by other local authorities for and on behalf of Rushcliffe Borough Council detailing:

(a) which other local authority is acting on Rushcliffe Borough Council's behalf, and

(b) the start date for all such sharing / sub-contracting arrangements, and

(c) the end date of those sharing / sub-contracting arrangements with a finite life-span, or if there is no end date, state "Open Ended".

Response

• Building Control service. The service is delivered by East Midlands Building Consultancy, which is a partnership with South Kesteven District Council and Newark and Sherwood District Council. This started in 2014, there is no end date for this arrangement.

• Payroll provided by Gedling Borough Council

End date (of current SLA) 18 August 2025

• Joint Parking Management Service Agreement, Broxtowe Borough Council, started 1 October 2014, open ended.

• Nottinghamshire County Council Enforcement of Parking – Partnership Agreement. Started 6 April 2007. Open-ended. Note: RBC has serviced notice on this agreement as the enforcement services are being brought back in house as of 21 June 2022.

• Nottinghamshire County Council Sub-agreement with District Councils for Enforcement & Provision of the Central Processing Unit. Started 28 January 2008. Open-ended. Note: With RBC insourcing enforcement services, the Central Processing section of this agreement will be renegotiated commencing 21 June 2022.

• Nottingham City Council Cooperation Agreement for Provision of Garage and Ancillary Equipment Services. Started 6 April 2014. Open ended.
