Please provide me the number of service requests/complaints you have received about non compliance with the smoke control orders in place and what enforcement action was taken in response to those requests.

What proactive work (not in response to a complaint or service request) was undertaken to enforce the smoke control areas and what enforcement action was taken. 

Please provide the above information by year for the last 5 calendar years.

Please provide me the number of service requests/complaints you have received about non compliance with the smoke control orders in place and what enforcement action was taken in response to those requests.

We received the following number of service requests/complaints for the postcodes within which the Smoke Control Orders are located:

• 2019 = 1
• 2020 = 5
• 2021 = 2
• 2022 = 1
• 2023 = 6

All were dealt with without the need for enforcement action.

What proactive work (not in response to a complaint or service request) was undertaken to enforce the smoke control areas and what enforcement action was taken.

None, as resources do not currently allow this.
