Request : Freedom of Information Act 2000

I am wishing to obtain the following information:

  1. Copy of any Authorisation by Chief Officer of Police for event May 2023 and July 2023 as required under Cycle Racing on Highways Regulations 1960 (as amended) – believed issued January 2023 – showing any further requirement in respect of event management / risk assessment.
  2. Copies of all Minutes of Meetings of SAG – particularly discussing the Event Management
  3. Copy of any letter to OSB in respect of any conditions to be applied to the event(s)
  4. Statement of any “cap” on maximum number of permitted entrants for May 2023 / July 2023 and how such limit was set.
  5. Listing of ‘members’ comprising the SAG for these events.
  6. Has Rushcliffe Borough Council made any financial contribution to OSB at any time in support of these events?

  1. Copy of any Authorisation by Chief Officer of Police for event May 2023 and July 2023 as required under Cycle Racing on Highways Regulations 1960 (as amended) – believed issued January 2023 – showing any further requirement in respect of event management / risk assessment.

    - Please contact Notts Police directly to obtain this document, Rushcliffe Borough Council does not have a copy of the 2023 authorisation on file

  2. Copies of all Minutes of Meetings of SAG – particularly discussing the Event Management

    - Available notes are below (these are redacted to protect official sensitive data for events that do not fall within the scope of this FOI request)

  3. Copy of any letter to OSB in respect of any conditions to be applied to the event(s)

    - Not applicable, none issued by Rushcliffe SAG

  4. Statement of any “cap” on maximum number of permitted entrants for May 2023 / July 2023 and how such limit was set

    - No cap recorded by SAG as a collective body, this would be subject to a discussion between the event organiser and individual member bodies i.e. Notts Police and Via East Midlands as part of regulatory processes

  5. Listing of ‘members’ comprising the SAG for these events.

    - Rushcliffe SAG core membership is made up of Rushcliffe Borough Council, Nottinghamshire County Council Emergency Planning, Via East Midlands, Notts Police and East Midland’s Ambulance Service.

  6. Has Rushcliffe Borough Council made any financial contribution to OSB at any time in support of these evets?
    • - Rushcliffe Borough Council has no financial arrangement with OSB
