Can you tell me how much money is spent from the council tax on your pensions, ie Rushcliffe and Notts County, or if you cannot on the Notts County then who do i contact for this.

Response

The Council's Statement of Accounts contains the disclosures relating to pensions.

For 2021/22 the employers contribution was £1,282,000.

The amount of funding collected by Council Tax accounts for 61.2% of Rushcliffe Borough Council's total income and, along with other income streams, contribute to all Council expenditure and therefore it is not correct to state that Council Tax wholly funds pension payments.
