Response

If your records group a number of parishes or villages together and you cannot separate the data, please provide the data for the group and please state the parishes or villages that make up the group.

  1. How many households are on your housing register currently in total? Please provide a summary of priority bands.
    • Band A - 3
    • Band B - 71
    • Band C - 439
    • Total - 513
  2. How many applicants that are resident in the parish of Flintham are on the register? Please provide a summary of the priority band they are in, and the number of bedrooms required.
    • 2 applicants
      • Applicant 1 - Band 2 (2/3 Bedrooms)
      • Applicant 2 - Band 3 (1 Bedroom)
  3. How many households listed in the response to question B are on the register that have indicated a preference to be housed in the parish of Flintham? Please provide a breakdown of priority and number of bedrooms required.
    • The 2 applicants have both included Flintham in their areas of preference.
  4. How many households on the register have indicated a preference to be rehoused in the parish of Flintham?
    • Areas of preference are not a mandatory question on our Homesearch application form, and the default option is for all areas of Rushcliffe to be selected.  Therefore, an accurate answer cannot be provided.

  5. How many households are on the register and have a local connection to the parish of Flintham in accordance with your allocation policy? Please provide a breakdown of priority and bedrooms required.
    • We are unable to report on this data as it is not requested at the point of application. Applicants only require a local connection to Rushcliffe to join Homesearch, the Council’s Choice Based lettings system. It would be inaccurate to assume that all applicants on the Housing Register would have a desire to live in Flintham. The local connection is defined by the Council Housing Allocations Policy.

  6. Does the council have a list of households that are seeking affordable home ownership?  If so, please provide information of demand for the parish, preferably indicating the affordable tenure required? If you don’t have this data at parish level, please provide for the local authority area as a whole
    • No
  7. When was the housing register reviewed last, and when do you intend to review it again?
    • The Council's Allocations Policy is a live document and constantly reviewed depending on the changes in national criteria. The current Policy was last updated in Jan 2024.
