I would be grateful if you could help in answering our request for information for

the following questions; answering for A-F on questions 1-8.

a) Photocopiers/MFDs (Multi-Functional Devise)

b) Printers

c) Print room / reprographic

d) Desktops

e) Laptops

f) Displays

g) Audio Visual/ meeting room kit

 

  1. Please name all the IT resellers that you have contacts with and buy from.
  2. What is the length of the contracts, more specifically their end date, with the named IT resellers in question 1.
  3. What year and month is the next hardware refresh due?
  4. Please name the number of devices deployed by Council?
  5. In reply to question 4, which department/facility are those located?
  6. Please name the brand and model of the devices mentioned and the spend for each product.
  7. Details on how these were procured. ie By Framework

    • If Framework, please state which one
  8. Do you normally purchase equipment as services or as a capital?
  9. What is your annual print/copy volume and spend?
  10. Who is the person(s) within your organization responsible for the MFD's, print hardware, and supplies contract(s)? Please provide their title and their contact details.

Q2. What is the length of the contracts, more specifically their end date, with the

Q3. What year and month is the next hardware refresh due?

a) Photocopiers/MFDs (Multi-Functional Devise) - After November 2021

b) Printers - N/A

c) Print room / reprographic - N/A

d) Desktops - The Council have a 5 year replacement programme and each device has its own date when due for replacement.

e) Laptops - The Council have a 5 year replacement programme and each device has its own date when due for replacement.

f) Displays - Replaced as an when they become damaged and beyond repair

g) Audio Visual/ meeting room kit - March 2022 will be the first review.

 

Q4. Please name the number of devices deployed by Council?

a) Photocopiers/MFDs (Multi-Functional Devise) - 11 devices

b) Printers - Approx. 14 devices

c) Print room / reprographic - N/A

d) Desktops - Approx. 15 devices

e) Laptops - Approx. 270 devices

f) Displays - Approx. 290 devices

g) Audio Visual/ meeting room kit - Not sure what to add here due to the openness of this section.

b) Printers - mainly BSU and Customer Services

d) Desktops - Democratic services, customer services, Cultural Services, and ICT

I'm unable to provide our annual print/copy as no reports exist to gain this information however, I can confirm that our annual spend is Approx. £12k
