Other (please specify)
Delivered in house but currently working with Bolsover at putting together an SLA for them to deliver some H&S functions such as audit, accident investigations and training – this will be on an ad-hoc basis working on a daily rate for H&S support
Note Emergency Planning is no longer provided by the H&S Advisor role at RBC. RBC have an agreement with Notts County Council to provide this service to us.
- What is the total costs to the Council for the Health and Safety service?
-
£15,000 has been allocated for 2022/23 which will be used to pay for work allocated to Bolsover or other consultant
H&S is delivered internally as a part of the Strategic HR Managers role. Previously RBC had 1 H&S Advisor in post 18.5hr a week part time - pay scale £31K to £36k. This person has been promoted into Strategic HR Manager role on 30hrs a week. Her time is divided between H&S, Strategic HR and managing the HR Team. This role commenced 01/03/2022 and therefore difficult to determine how much of the time will be spent on H&S. Anticipated less than 1 day a week.
-
- Total number of employees at the authority
-
Approx. 260. Will be increasing to approx. 310 in September 2022
-
- Number of employees in Health and Safety and how many are full-time and part-time.
- 1 part time as explained in question 2)
