Response
- What are the biggest challenges your organisation currently faces in surveying and geospatial activity?
The Council do not have a current need for surveying and geospatial consultancy.
- Are you confident in your full knowledge of the condition and knowledge of your impact on our local environment?
Yes, the Council has undertaken a review of assets and created a Net Carbon Zero plan, to be achieved by 2030. Please see website.
- What are your organisation’s key strategic objectives for the next 12-24 months, and how does surveying and geospatial fit into these?
Please see RBC website. If surveying and / or geospatial are requirements going forward, the consultancy would be tendered on an ad hoc basis.
- Please detail any planned development of sites or assets

- Do you have a supplier for drainage mapping and surveying?
No.
- If so, please can you supply details of the contractual arrangements in place including date of award, details of any Framework used or link to the advertisement, contract value and duration.
Not applicable.
- If not, please can you indicate what evaluation of the requirement for surveying and geospatial works have been undertaken?
None.
- Please share your planned procurement pipeline for surveying and geospatial works for the next 12 months
We have no surveying or geospatial works planned for the next 12 months, as such, they do not figure in your procurement pipeline. Please the Council’s website to view the pipeline which will be published in May and covers the preceding 18 months.
- How do you engage with potential new suppliers—through open tenders, direct engagement, or supplier days?
Any engagement will be in line with the latest procurement regulations and will potentially be one or a combination of the methods described.
- Please can you confirm the individual responsible for managing your surveying and geospatial contracts or wider development contracts and provide their contact details and role title?
The Council does not have an individual who specifically manages surveying or geospatial contracts. Wider development contracts would typically be managed by the lead manager for a specific service area which could be Property, Communities etc. General development enquiries can be sent to our Corporate Projects Officer Cara Prendergast email cprendergast@rushcliffe.gov.uk
- Please provide a list of frameworks that you procure related services through
The Council has used a number of Frameworks to procurement consultancy services in the past, including EEM, Fusion21, CCS and EA. The new Procurement regulations do not permit the use of private Frameworks, so going forwards and as unless the regulations are amended, appointments will only be made from publicly operated Frameworks like CCS, ESPO and EA.

No current plans.
- Do you have any issues with subsidence in your properties? If so, where?
No.
- When developing/purchasing/selling a site, how do you verify that the boundaries are correct?
None planned.
- Do you have any public cycleway schemes coming up in the next 12-24 months? The Council utilises Digdat and Line Search Before You Dig to identify underground utilities.
