  • Any actions or measures taken by the council in response to these complaints.
  • How often each public toilet is cleaned.

  1. The total number of complaints received by the council about public toilets for each of the past five years (from 2020 to 2024).
    1. One in September 2020
  2. A breakdown of these complaints by category, indicating the nature of the complaint (e.g., cleanliness, maintenance issues, safety concerns, accessibility, etc.).
    1. This complaint related to the automated handwash units not working during Covid
  3. Identification of the public toilet facilities (E.g. name and location) that have received the highest number of complaints within this period.
    1. This one and only formal complaint was in connection with Bridgford Park toilets in the centre of West Bridgford.
  4. Any actions or measures taken by the council in response to these complaints.
    1. The automatic handwash units had been accidentally switched off by a contractor. The units were switched back on and consumable products [soap] were replenished.
  5. How often each public toilet is cleaned.
    1. Eaton Place, Bingham - cleaned 6 days a week
      Bridgford Park, West Bridgford - cleaned 7 days a week
      West Park, West Bridgford - cleaned 7 days per weekÂ
