Specifically, I am requesting the following information:

• The total amount of plastic waste shipped to Asia from your organisation over the past five years, organised by year (e.g. 10 tonnes in 2019, 20 tonnes in 2020).
• The countries that the plastic waste was shipped to.

Response

Rushcliffe is the designated waste collection authority (WCA). In such two tier local government systems such as in Nottinghamshire, Nottinghamshire County Council is the designated waste disposal authority (WDA) and as such are responsible for waste disposal through their disposal contract with Veolia Environmental Services. Your request should therefore be sent directly to them for a response enquiries@nottscc.gov.uk
