- What method do you use for weed control?
- Herbicide
- Do you use chemicals?
- Glyphosate based herbicide and eco-plugs for killing tree stumps, Roundup weed killer for the general weed spraying, Turf Master for spraying the pitches
- If you use chemicals is the council looking to using a more environmentally friendly method?
- We are trialling a number of sites this summer with a view to omitting use of herbicide alongside a reduced mowing regime. It is considered that the use of herbicide will be used to some degree for the foreseeable future.
