Lets Live Well In Rushcliffe
Friendship Calendar
The Rushcliffe Social Prescribing Team run Friendship Calendars across all of Rushcliffe with the aim to combat loneliness and isolation for individuals.
In addition to the local Friendship Calendars, they also run a monthly event for anyone across Rushcliffe to try something new and make new friends!

Green Social Prescribing
Green Social Prescribing is a national initiative to support people in engaging in nature-based interventions and activities to improve their mental health.
Green social prescribing includes both what is known as green and blue activities. These could include local walking schemes, community gardening projects, conservation volunteering, open water swimming or arts and cultural activities which take place outdoors. Often these may be ‘prescribed’ or referred from a Link Worker based at a GP practice or another primary care professional.
Our scheme in Nottinghamshire is called GreenSpace and more information can be found on the webpage.
If you would like you receive the GreenSpace E-Bulletin, please contact greenspace@nottinghamcvs.co.uk.
Rushcliffe Big Green Book
The Rushcliffe Big Green Book was developed with the support of the GreenSpace project at Nottingham Community Voluntary Service and is a directory of nature-based activities and opportunities around Rushcliffe.
The book is now delivered in partnership with Rushcliffe Borough Council, Rushcliffe Primary Care Network and Nottingham Community Voluntary Service and sets out local activities and groups across the Borough to help people choose an activity that is local and easily accessible to them.
Rushcliffe Green Calendar
Across Rushcliffe we recognise the drastic crisis which is Climate Change and understand the importance to stop it.
The Rushcliffe Green Calendar is a calendar of ‘Green’ focused national campaigns which aims to raise awareness locally and increase the conversation and local knowledge around conservation and sustainability.
More information can be found on the PCN Green Calendar webpage.
Population Health Management
Population Health Management aims at improving the health of an entire population.
It aims to better the physical and mental health of all individuals, whilst also reducing health inequalities.
Across Rushcliffe we have created a Population Health Management Calendar. Each month focuses on a health category and promotes services available to anyone.
Find out more information on Population Health Management and the monthly newsletters on the Primary Care Network webpage.
