Cease the Citizen’s Advice Bureau Outreach Service at Fountain Court
Record of Decision Taken by Dave Banks on 15 November 2020
Authority for decision
Delegated authority from Executive Manager for Neighbourhoods.
Decision
To cease the Citizen’s Advice Bureau Outreach Service at Fountain Court, West Bridgford and enhance the Council’s grant contribution at The Main Bureau, Notts from £7,000 pa to £12,000 pa. The change will take effect from 1.4.2021
Reasons for decision
For the delivery of advice services to Rushcliffe residents.
Alternative options considered and rejected
Status quo - rejected
Provision of an Outreach Service and Main Bureau Service - Transformational change to remote and online services have seen an increase in access to virtual services, therefore this option no longer provides value for money.
Provision of a Main Bureau Service only at current grant levels - rejected
Outputs achieved would not be sufficient for the increased footfall at the Main Bureau following the cessation of the Outreach Service.
Conflicts of interest and any dispensation
None identified.
