Lark in the Park

Our ever-popular free Lark in the Park is back this summer on Wednesday August 7 featuring over 40 fantastic stalls and
attractions at Bridgford Park in West Bridgford from 10am to 4pm.


There will be an incredible amount of family fun with an Olympic theme including inflatables, skills, soft play, storytelling, sports sessions and free singing and dancing shows.


Egg and spoon, wheelbarrow, space hopper, sack and skipping races, a tug of war, javelin throwing and much more!


There will also be food and drink stalls and charity and community stands, packed with useful freebies and information on a range of services and activities offered through local organisations.

About Lark in the Park

Established in 1988, Lark in the Park is one of Nottinghamshire's biggest free event for children and families.

For over 30 years Lark in the Park has been delighting Nottinghamshire families, providing a free fun-filled day out featuring a whole host of child-friendly attractions such as arts and craft workshops, sports activities, shows and classes, rides and amusements in Bridgford Park, West Bridgford. 

The event takes place annually on the first Wednesday in August and celebrates Play Day, a campaign that highlights the importance of play in children and young people's lives.
