RBC is inviting community groups, businesses, voluntary or public sector organisations from anywhere in the Borough to apply for part of £320,000 in UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

This round of funding is now open for applications until April 30, 2025. Projects can cover a broad range of initiatives and examples include:

  • Improving health and wellbeing
  • Reducing crime and the fear of crime
  • Bringing communities together
  • Developing the visitor economy
  • Improving business sites and premises
  • Supporting growing businesses

Projects must be delivered in Rushcliffe and must be able to spend their funding allocation between June 30, 2025 and March 31, 2026. There is a requirement for match funding and further details on this can be found in the grant guidance.

To find out how to apply and arrange a pre-application discussion on the RBC website.

Rushcliffe Borough Council's Deputy Leader and Cabinet Portfolio Holder for Business and Growth Cllr Abby Brennan said: “We are delighted to be providing further support for businesses and community projects through our UKSPF 2025/26 grant fund.

“With grants available between £1,000 and £40,000, we have a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with local groups and businesses to bring even more projects to life that will help to make a real difference and benefit our communities.

“Over the past two years we’ve seen so many great initiatives come to fruition, from playground improvements and accessible equipment to the installation of solar panels and other energy efficient measures at sports clubs, theatre facilities and village halls.

“We encourage anyone in the Borough with an eligible project to take advantage of this funding opportunity and talk to our Economic Growth Team to find out more and submit an application.”
