Rushcliffe Borough Council (RBC) has invested in the new facilities off Wellin Lane NG12 4AS, in the village which included a refreshed food and drink menu offering freshly made quality pizzas from its pizza oven and a selection of new draft beer and ales.

The golf centre is also hosting weekly baby sensory and signing sessions held in their versatile function room which is also home to new highchairs for the clubhouse to cater for family groups.

Families can sign up for TinyTalk Baby Signing, suitable for newborns to 17 months, which takes place on Tuesday July 2, 9 and 16 from 11.15am to 12.15pm and is 7.75 per family per class or £54.25 for term classes.

The venue also has a new defibrillator situated outside the building and is accessible 24/7 for anyone who should need it.

The life-saving equipment has been installed as part of RBC's Safe Hearts in Sport initiative, supported by Shared Prosperity Funding from the UK Government.

RBC’s Communities Manager Derek Hayden said: “Edwalton Golf Centre is a fantastic venue with a lovely café for meetups or a place to relax after a round or two of golf!

“The meeting and function room has free wifi and is available for anyone to hire. It’s great to see businesses such as TinyTalk and Little Glow Rushcliffe hosting family-friendly baby classes in the flexible space.

“Alongside our café, lounge area and meeting room, the golf centre has a terrific nine-hole main course, par 3 course, driving range and putting green. Come and visit and enjoy all the facilities on offer!”

TinyTalk Teacher Jess Cripps added: “Edwalton Golf Centre has been and continues to be a great venue choice to host my TinyTalk classes and the staff are always super helpful and on hand for anything I need during the sessions.

“The room is the perfect size with great baby changing facilities directly opposite, as well as a brilliant café for class families to meet up in before or after my classes.

“Following the summer term, I’m returning to the golf centre on Tuesday September 3 until December for my Autumn term, which will run for six weeks. If anyone is interested in attending, feel free to get in touch by emailing jesscripps@tinytalk.co.uk.”

Lex Leisure Contract Manager Adam Groves said: “We're pleased to welcome TinyTalk and all the family activities and sessions held in our bookable function room.

“We’re at the heart of the community here in Edwalton and our recently refurbished clubhouse is also the perfect place to meet with friends for a bite to eat, so come on down this summer!”
