Leader sends sincere condolences to family and friends of Sam Perkins

Our Leader Cllr Neil Clarke has sent sincere condolences on behalf of the Council to the family and friends of Motor Neurone Disease campaigner Sam Perkins from East Leake who has passed away.

He said: "It was so sad to hear that Sam has died.

"He was so inspiring in raising awareness of this terrible disease through Stand Against MND and he also won the Pride of Rushcliffe award at our annual Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards for his stringent efforts. Our sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends."
