Last updated: 19/11/2024

Community heroes across the Borough will be recognised and celebrated at this year’s Celebrating Rushcliffe Awards working with Parkwood Leisure on Thursday November 21.

The awards acknowledge Rushcliffe’s wonderful volunteers, businesses and environmentalists, clubs, organisations, and the best of its health and wellbeing and food and drink sectors and local enterprise.

Rushcliffe Borough Council has welcomed Parkwood Leisure as lead sponsors who are delighted to be part of the celebrations.

Over 30 groups and individuals have been shortlisted for this year’s accolades in an event at Rushcliffe Arena in West Bridgford following an incredible response and over 600 nominations putting forward their local heroes.

Parkwood Leisure Managing Director Glen Hall said: “The evening is set to be a great celebration of people across the Borough who are making a difference in their local communities. We’re very pleased to be lead sponsors for this fantastic event.

“Congratulations to all the shortlisted nominees for the 10 categories and good luck on the night!”
