Buildings at Risk
Historic England, with the assistance of Local Authorities, publishes an annual Register of Buildings at Risk. This brings together information on all the Grade I and II* Listed Buildings and Scheduled Ancient Monuments known to be ‘at risk‘ through neglect and decay, or vulnerable to becoming so.
Inclusion in this register is not intended to criticise owners of the buildings, but to focus attention on them to seek solutions for their future well being.
A local register of buildings at risk in Nottinghamshire is maintained by Nottinghamshire County Council. This identifies Grade II listed buildings at risk in the county which are not covered by the national register. To view the list please consult the County Council's Buildings at Risk Website.
