Salary: £26,271 per annum

The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Green Spaces Operative to join the Streetwise Rushcliffe Borough Council, undertaking gardening, grass cutting, hedging and various grounds maintenance tasks.
About You:
The successful applicant will need to have enthusiasm with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will need to have relevant knowledge of health and safety within the specific area of work.
A flexible approach to work is essential and you must be prepared to work both weekends, early morning and Bank Holidays as required to deliver the full range of Streetwise services. You will need to have some experience of this type of work, particularly in mowing, use of hand tools, sports pitch marking and be able to perform effectively as part of a small team.
Location:
You will be based at our Bingham depot and will be working closely with your team. A flexible approach to work is essential as the main workforce start early and work weekends and bank holidays.
